Work Opportunities / Types Of Placements
Platinum-Help provides many different types of job opportunities that include but are not limited to: Farm work (harvesting, sanitation, grower, cultivate, production), Cannabis Farming (harvesting, grower, sanitation, trimmer), Factory Work (heavy lifting, cleaning, production work, sanitation, assembly line work), Cleaner (dust, mop, sweep, sanitize, organize), Poultry.
We provide the proper training to help place you in the roll that is right for you. We work with you as our approach is hand on, this allows us to help with tasks as well as help you use your talents in the right places.
Platinum-Help has helped many people find secure jobs and grow into management roles. We vouch for our employees and help them reach their goals by providing jobs and working along side our staff on jobsites to help you grow and learn the trade. We have many different types of placements this includes full-time, part-time, contract, and temporary placements.
Trainings Provided To Staff
Platinum-Help offers crucial training and certifications in the following areas: WHIMIS, AODA, Health & Safety, Violence & Harassment in the Work Place, Lockout/tagout, Confined Spaces, and other specific trainings as needed - read more about the trainings provided by Platinum Help Services.
These are done through online courses that are emailed to you and as a result are paid out as 3 hours’ time acquired towards your pay. Once you have completed and passed the required training you will have access to a certificate that you can use in future jobs as well as the current job placement until the certificate expires.
Ride To Work Program
Platinum-Help has a ride program in place to help you get to work. We have ride programs for all our placements this allows us to help get our team to and from the jobsites. We have incorporated Covid-19 protocols to help minimize the spread, this includes masks, social distancing as well as Covid screening before entering the car. We also have available opportunities to become a driver in our car pools, this will include additional pay during pay days - read more about the Ride To Work program.
Qualifications & Documents Needed For Hiring
The following are required for employment with our staffing agency: Driver’s license, Work permit, Criminal back ground check (this will be done by us at no cost to you), Social Insurance Number, Previous job experiences.
Proof of Covid vaccination - As of September 22, 2021 - proof of Covid vaccination will be required for all staff prior to beginning a work placement.
